OK, Mom has to put in her two cents worth here and put in a picture that is more appealing…could we just point out that it was over 100degrees this day and we are hot and sweaty…(not to mention in pain!)

It was a lot of fun…but man did it hurt!

Life in Minnesota is mostly hot and muggy lately.

Kids are bums…staying up till all hours of the morning playing guitar hero and sleeping in until all hours of the afternoon.

Chuck and I haven’t been riding much this year…a certain source of frustration for Chuck.

Summer life is quite a bit different with me working…

Hey everyone, just wanted to write a short note and let you all know that I am missing you all! Having a bit of the Minnesota Spring Blues around here…definitely not my favorite time of year in this lovely state! It’s grey and dreary, I saw a hint of green on my lilacs yesterday though and I know in just about 6 weeks they will be flowering, but it’s hard to imagine right now. The grass is starting to green up from the 5 solid days of rain we have had lately…but hey they are calling for 6 inches of snow tomorrow…all of this after 81 degrees last week…Ahhh Minnesota!

How is everyone else in all the other areas of this land?

I have a priority this week to get bathroom pictures posted and more life info…and to read all the new posts from all my lovely families!! Love ya all, Renee

Hello All! I have been wondering where everybody has been lately too. Checked in a couple of times..but of course never when I had time to post. Life has been very hectic lately. We have been working on the bathroom with all of our free time lately and it seems we don’t have much free time lately. Travis was in driver’s ed the last few weeks, three hours a night, made the schedule a little crazy. He got his permit last week, haven’t seen him that excited in a long time!! Elaine was really sick last week, 102 degree temp. for a week! Had to go to doctor and found it was viral so nothing to do but wait it out. She had to get her blood drawn and she was so sick and so weak it took three tries and she literrally just about passed out, they had to put in a chair and tip her upside down to get the blood back to her head. She is better now though and her and Travis are at a winter retreat this weekend with church. Next weekend Elaine is going to a girls overnight at our church, the weekend after Travis is going to an all night ski with the next door neighbors church, and the weekend after that they are both going to “aquire the fire” another church retreat thing in St. Paul. Busy busy…

We aren’t having much of a winter, which actually kind of sucks. It has only snowed twice and most of that is gone. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do outside when the whether is like it has been this year. No skiing, sledding, showshoeing, all the things that make winter fun and bearable! A lot of friends are going to Mexico and Florida in the next few weeks and I am finding myself quite envious and downright jealous…and too broke to go myself!

Next Friday night Chuck and I start a Ballroom Dance class for four weeks. We are really excited about it. We even got our next door neighbors to join us in it! We are also taking a Wine Appreciation class but I think that’s in March or April.
